Imagining Dune as a AAA RPG

A precursor project to Project Changeling and The Witch of Xangdebaar, Dune AAA is a license adaptation imagining of a large scale narrative RPG adapted from the first Dune novel.

STORY: For the sake of player agency, the game follows Lena, a cousin to Paul Atreides, a niece of Jessica born in secret by the Bene Gesserit. Her story unfolds parallel to that of Paul, happening in the shadows of Arakis and Giede Prime, exploring the plots of the Kwisatz Haderach, the Breeding Program, and the Fremen Uprising from a new point of view, while night visions keep us up to date with the story of Paul. All of it is part of the Golden Path.

GAMEPLAY: The game takes inspiration from Hitman III, with an emphasis on social infiltration, acquiring costumes, mimicking subtle language patterns, and using Bene Gesserit powers in dialog and in combat, with a rhythm-game-like way of playing combat, simulating the feel of high level fencing and in-depth knowledge of tactics and anatomy. Companions enhance the tactical feel of the game and enrich the story.
